First T – linking TGI to customer databases
First T combines the breadth of TGI with the depth provided by business-specific customer databases to give total market understanding.
First T enables:
- Detailed segment analysis
- Development of attitudinal clusters
- Targeted media planning/channel selection
- New consumer proposition development
The First-T process involves matching TGI GB data at name, address and postcode level to data held within a customer database.
A customer database of at least one million people is required in order to achieve at least 1,000 direct matches. Integral to the process is the inclusion in the match of up to 20 key database variables such as segmentations, propensity models, campaign response, product portfolio, customer type and transaction/spend bands.
